    About the Role

    CareerFinders is seeking a Junior Accountant for a professional services firm in Nicosia, specializing in Accounting, Tax, and Corporate Services. This role involves day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, VAT submissions, and payroll assistance. The position offers full training and welcomes recent graduates with relevant academic backgrounds. An attractive remuneration package, including a 13th salary, Provident Fund, and 21 days of annual leave, is provided. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software and LCCI Higher or equivalent certifications are considered advantages. Fluency in Greek and English is essential.

    Responsibilities

    • Day-to-day Bookkeeping/Financial Reporting.
    • VAT quarterly submissions.
    • VIES returns.
    • Payroll (Social Insurance/TD59/TD63/TD7).
    • Monthly Reconciliations (Bank-Debtor-Creditor).
    • Dealing and liaising with customers, banks, and auditors.
    • Corporate Services.

    Requirements

    • An academic background in a relevant field is desirable.
    • Holders of any relevant accounting certifications such as LCCI Accounting Higher or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
    • Prior experience in a relevant role will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
    • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
    • Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage.
    • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
    • Ability to work as a part of a team.
    • Very good communication and organizational skills.
    • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
