    About the Role

    CareerFinders is seeking an Accounting Manager for a long-established provider of Audit & Accounting services in Nicosia. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of local and international clients' accounting, and oversee a team of up to four employees. This role is ideal for someone with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field, and approximately 4+ years of relevant experience in Client Accounting. Proficiency in both Greek and English, along with strong communication skills, are essential. Full members of recognised accounting bodies are encouraged to apply, though it is desirable rather than strictly essential.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the accounting of a portfolio of local and international clients
    • Managing a team of up to four employees
    • Communication and resolution of any issues with clients
    • Reconciliation of banks, creditors debtors ledgers
    • Preparation of reports from the accounting software
    • Assisting in the preparation of tax forms in Taxisnet and organising payments through the Tax Portal platform
    • Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES returns
    • End to end preparation of client's payroll
    • Documentation and filing of accounting transactions in an organized manner
    • Liaison with the audit department
    • Assisting with some internal accounting duties as required by Senior Management

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Management or related field
    • 4+ years of relevant work experience in Client Accounting is essential
    • Full member of a recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is desirable
    • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Confident individual, able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
    • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
    • Ability to work as part of a team
