About the Role
Our client, a well-established company in Cyprus specializing in home technologies, is expanding their team and seeking an Assistant Automation Engineer. This role involves performing installations, repairs, and maintenance of electronic devices and automation systems, ensuring all tasks are completed correctly, on time, and meet the company's quality standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading a team of installers assigned to each project, providing guidance and organization. They will take instructions from and report back to the Project Engineer, communicating project progress and any arising issues. Collaboration with colleagues to achieve productivity goals is essential, along with ensuring all assigned tasks are completed within deadlines and company procedures are followed. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring new employees within the department.
Responsibilities
- Performs installations, repairs and maintenance of electronic devices and automation systems
- Responsible for leading the team of installers assigned to each project, guiding and organizing them
- Takes instructions from the Project Engineer and reports back on progress and any issues
- Works closely with colleagues to achieve productivity goals and contribute to company success
- Ensures all assigned tasks are completed within deadlines and company procedures are followed
- Provides training and mentors new employees of the Department
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in a relevant field
- Previous experience of more than 2 years in a similar position
- Knowledge of the Company's mission, customers, and products
- Ability to follow company's standard procedures for optimal management and delivery of work or repair projects on time
- Maintain projects and work within budget and quality standards
- Update knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, technical manuals, and networking
- Be a role model of integrity
