About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, a well-established accounting and audit firm offering a comprehensive range of professional services, is seeking to recruit an Audit Manager to join their growing team in Larnaca. The successful applicant will be a full member of the ACA or ACCA, possessing at least 3 years of experience as an Audit Manager or in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) is required, along with fluency in both Greek and English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, including a generous base salary, 13th salary, and provident fund. The working hours are structured to provide a good work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Managing an audit team
- Planning, monitoring, and reviewing audit personnel
- Reviewing and discussing Financial Statements with clients
- Reviewing tax computations and communicating with tax authorities
- Participating in training team members, providing guidance and coaching
- Implementing company best practices for financial statements and client correspondence
- Collaborating with internal departments and associates for deliverables
- Liaising with clients and contributing to strong client relationships
- Reporting to the Managing Director
Requirements
- Full member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales or ACCA
- 3+ years of experience as an Audit Manager
- Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Organizational and management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek
