About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting Services in Nicosia, is seeking an Audit Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have an academic background in Accounting/Finance, be a member of ACCA or ACA, and possess approximately 5+ years of audit experience, capable of managing audit engagements for small and medium-sized clients from inception to completion. Fluency in both Greek and English, along with knowledge of Caseware International software, is essential. Responsibilities
- Providing management over a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit service
- Preparing and reviewing audit plans and work
- Conducting assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end
- Monitoring and control of auditing staff
- Assisting the manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategies, policies and guidelines
- Coordination of operations, monitoring operating costs, budgets and resources
- Communication with clients and evaluation of their needs and specifications
- Providing additional help and guidance to clients on a consultancy basis
- Performing other audit, assistance and supervision duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Full member of ACCA/ACA
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Audit
- Sound knowledge of Corporation Tax
- Ability to complete Audits from start to finish for small and medium clients
- Knowledge of Caseware International software
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
- Fluent in English and Greek
