About the Role
Our client, a well-established accounting and audit firm in Cyprus, is looking to strengthen their team by adding an Auditor. Responsibilities
- Participation in audit engagements from planning through to completion of the audit file
- Understanding of International Standards on Auditing and core financial reporting principles
- Performance of audit testing, analytical procedures, sampling and documentation of audit findings
- Assistance with the preparation of audited financial statements and related audit deliverables
- Ability to communicate with clients and obtain appropriate audit evidence
- Analytical thinking, professional scepticism, attention to detail and responsibility
Requirements
- Relevant academic background
- Genuine interest in the audit profession and willingness to develop through practical training and professional guidance
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, confidentiality, teamwork, a positive attitude, good communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a demanding professional environment
- Proven experience in audit engagements (advantage)
- Ability to manage a client portfolio (advantage)
- Supervise junior staff and work effectively under strict professional deadlines (advantage)
- Previous experience within an accounting or audit firm will be considered a strong advantage
