About the Role

Our client, a well-established company in Cyprus specializing in home technologies, is expanding its team and seeking an Automation Systems Programmer. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Director of the department and the Head of the Developments Team. This role involves in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services, continuous learning of new programming languages and technologies, and staying informed about market trends. The programmer will also assist the support department, support sales and marketing, conduct research and development, and actively participate in corporate events.

Responsibilities

Know in depth all products and services offered by the company

Know the functionality, techniques, capabilities, and programming limitations of all products

Refresh knowledge on programming company products and update on new products

Stay informed about market trends and competitor products, proposing solutions

Report to the Project Engineer and Head of Developers on progress and problems

Research and propose new innovations for company development

Assist the support department in programming, settings, and technical matters

Support the Sales & Marketing Department as required

Undertake study and investigation of existing possibilities and new products (R&D)

Apply instructions regarding health, safety, and fire safety

Perform any other work assigned by the Directorate and General Management

Participate in corporate events and promote corporate identity

Requirements

Familiarity with at least one object-oriented programming language

Ability to learn new adapted programming languages based on product requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a project team

Good problem-solving skills and ability to deal with uncertain situations

Attention to detail

Good knowledge of the English language
