About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, a leading land and building developer in Cyprus, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Limassol. The successful candidate will oversee a range of residential and commercial developments, conducting regular site inspections to ensure projects meet agreed specifications and timeframes. This role requires a degree in Civil Engineering, ETEK registration, and at least 5 years of experience in both residential and commercial projects. An attractive remuneration package, including a 13th salary, company car, and mobile phone, is on offer.
Responsibilities
- Conducting regular site inspections and assessing work performance done by main and subcontractors
- Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications and timeframes
- Liaising with consultants, providing technical advice, and solving problem solutions on site
- Coordination of external consultants
- Conducting briefings with the Group Technical Manager on a regular basis
- Demonstrating personal commitment and adept knowledge to health and safety regulations/contracts and the environment
- Attending and contributing to project technical meetings
Requirements
- University degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered member of ETEK
- 5+ years experience in residential and commercial projects
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Good knowledge of MS Project
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, procurements, and project management principles
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient knowledge of English language (written and verbal)
