About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Civil Engineer for a long-established construction and engineering company in Nicosia. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise various construction-related projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. An academic background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required, and while prior experience is a plus, it's not essential as full training will be provided. Graduate-level applicants are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of AutoCAD and fluency in both Greek and English are highly desirable. The role involves project supervision, health & safety promotion, troubleshooting, report and quotation preparation, site coordination, material ordering, stock control, budget monitoring, and payment execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervision and organization of various engineering projects and daily works
- Proactively promoting and ensuring Health & Safety measures are being followed
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Preparation of reports and quotations
- Coordination, management and organisation of construction sites, company workshops and contractors
- Ordering of materials and monitoring stock control
- Monitoring budgets and schedules
- Preparing and executing payments
- Any other relevant duties as required by the Company
Requirements
- Holder of a Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
- Holder of a driver's license
- Able to obtain a clear criminal record certificate
