About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Client Accountant for a Corporate Services provider based in Limassol. The successful candidate will provide a range of accounting and bookkeeping services to clients, including preparing and submitting VAT and VIES returns, assisting with payroll and social insurance, and preparing management accounts. This role is ideal for professionals with relevant academic qualifications and at least one year of professional experience, ideally within a professional services firm. Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of bookkeeping and accounting records.
- Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES declarations.
- Assistance with the preparation of Payroll and Social Insurance.
- Preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assistance with tax matters and other administrative duties.
- Preparation and submission of tax declarations, including TD forms, GHS, and SDC calculations.
Requirements
- An academic background in a relevant field is desirable.
- Holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in Cyprus, preferably in an accounting, audit, fiduciary, or tax firm.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations is required.
- Experience working with accounting software.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Proficient knowledge of both Greek and English.
- Proactive, professional, client service orientated, with good organizational skills.
