About the Role
Our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services, is seeking a Client Accountant to join their growing team in Limassol. This role involves providing a broad range of accounting and bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Key tasks include preparing VAT and VIES returns, conducting various banking reconciliations, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least one year of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping position. Experience with Intelisoft accounting software is highly desirable, as is fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping on behalf of clients
- Preparation of VAT returns, Income Tax, and VIES
- Reconciliation of customer and supplier bank accounts
- Reconciliation of debtor and creditor accounts
- Regular communication with clients
- Appropriate filing of relevant accounting records, in both physical and electronic format
Requirements
- Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar (advantage)
- Holders of, or working towards relevant accounting qualifications encouraged to apply
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in a relevant accounting and bookkeeping position
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
- Familiarity with Accounting software, particularly Intelisoft is highly desirable
- Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English
- Excellent client service skills
- A good team player
