About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, an established provider of Audit, Accounting, Tax, and Advisory services, is seeking a Client Accountant. This role involves providing accounting and bookkeeping services to a diverse client portfolio, including preparing and submitting VAT & VIES returns, carrying out payroll submissions, and preparing Management Accounts. The successful candidate will join a growing team within a firm licensed by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). An attractive remuneration package, including a 13th salary and hybrid working options after the probationary period, is on offer.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping for a range of clients
- VAT/VIES returns
- Payroll submissions
- Management accounts & financial reporting
- Support audit and tax teams
- Client communication & compliance tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is desirable
- LCCI Higher or similar certification encouraged
- At least 1+ year of experience in a relevant position is essential
- Strong English & Greek communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel
- Detail-oriented and team-focused
- Knowledge of accounting software including Caseware is desirable
- Prior experience in the audit field will be considered a plus
- Understanding of Cyprus tax and payroll obligations is an advantage
