About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading and rapidly expanding company in the property markets of Cyprus and Greece, we are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget. This role involves setting and maintaining project timelines, managing resources efficiently, and coordinating between different construction sites. You will provide technical supervision, solve issues as they arise, and maintain a high standard of work while fostering strong relationships on-site. Responsibilities
- Reviewing and monitoring construction works schedule to ensure projects stay on schedule
- Manage a number of different projects at the same time
- Ensure proper utilization of resources
- Prepare manpower and plant requirements and take corrective actions with Site Managers
- Assist with recovery schedules
- Coordinate personnel, equipment & subcontractors allocation between construction sites
- Facilitate feedback and information flow between projects regarding construction issues
- Ensure that projects are executed within the construction budget
- Deal with working relationships on construction sites
- Provide technical supervision and solve technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 10 years of relevant experience with emphasis in complex, fast‐track, project delivery
- Demonstrated organizational skills and problem‐solving ability
- Ability to access resources inside and outside of the company
- Ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well and manage resources efficiently
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Team player with leadership abilities
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project and fluency in English and Greek
