About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of a leading Cypriot construction company specializing in commercial and residential development and restoration projects, is seeking a Construction Project Manager. This role involves overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects from their inception to successful completion. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field, coupled with at least 6 years of relevant experience. A comprehensive understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety standards, and regulations is essential. The position requires fluency in both Greek and English, and offers an attractive remuneration package with benefits based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Daily coordination and guidance of employees, including labourers and subcontractors
- Management of the construction site
- Ensuring the completion of projects, according to specification as well as quality and safety
- Scheduling and coordinating work based on schedule, drawings, measurements and monitoring for accuracy of work
- Productivity control, as well as materials and machinery management
- Preparation of measurements, and material orders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- 6+ years of experience in Construction Management related roles
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
