About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor for a highly respected company in the Construction & Real Estate sectors based in Limassol or Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. Applicants should ideally be degree-educated in a relevant field with approximately 5+ years of experience in supervising and managing construction projects onsite. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety standards, and regulations is essential, along with fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is offered, commensurate with skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervision and management of daily operations at the construction site
- Monitoring and ensuring the progress of works, recording daily reports
- Checking and ensuring adherence to safety and health measures
- Managing work teams and assigning tasks
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to resolve technical issues
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Inspecting the quality of materials and equipment
- Coordinating deliveries and dispatches of materials and tools
- Reading and implementing technical drawings and specifications
Requirements
- Academic background in a relevant field (highly desirable)
- Approx. 5+ years of experience in Construction Management related roles
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong decision-making skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
