About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel for a long-established iGaming company based in Limassol. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Legal and primarily provide advice on corporate governance, support the Board of Directors and Committees, and manage corporate policies. This role involves ensuring compliance with corporate governance frameworks, statutory obligations, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have a law degree, preferably from a UK university, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Excellent knowledge of corporate law and Registrar of Companies procedures is essential, along with fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support focusing on corporate governance, structuring, and strategic matters
- Advise on corporate governance, supporting Boards and Committees, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance
- Manage the Group’s corporate housekeeping, statutory registers, and corporate records
- Liaise with corporate service providers, company registries, and regulatory authorities
- Draft, review, and manage a wide range of corporate documentation
- Support the establishment, maintenance, restructuring, and management of Group entities
- Plan, coordinate, and assist with legal due diligence for M&A, investments, and transactions
- Support corporate transactions and strategic projects (M&A, restructurings, joint ventures)
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to Group stakeholders on corporate, governance, and business matters
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external legal counsel
- Assist in the development and improvement of the Group’s corporate governance framework
- Support the Group’s M&A activities and broader strategic projects
Requirements
- Law degree (LLB, LLM an advantage), preferably from a UK university
- Admitted Attorney to the Bar of the State of origin
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant role
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and Registrar of Companies procedures
- Fluency in English Language communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience in regulated industries (advantage)
- iGaming experience and licensing experience (advantage)
