About the Role
Our client is a newly established proprietary trading firm operating as an AI-first data organization, embedding AI across their entire workflow — from infrastructure and data pipelines to predictive analytics and reporting. They are now seeking a hands-on technology leader to architect and scale their systems while inspiring and guiding the engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge high-level strategy with deep technical execution — translating vision into robust, scalable architecture and leading from the front when it comes to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term tech roadmap and company-wide strategy
- Lead architecture decisions across trading systems, platform, and infrastructure
- Build, hire, and mentor a top-tier engineering team
- Ensure scalability and security in a fast-moving, high-scale production environment
Requirements
- 7+ years in software development, with 3+ years in technical leadership
- Proven track record of building high-scale production systems
- Fintech or Trading background is a major plus
- Decisive leadership and the ability to thrive in an early-stage, ambiguous environment
