About the Role
Our client is seeking a STEM Education Researcher for its educational centres in Cyprus to develop, test, and improve innovative hands-on learning programmes for children. The role entails creating engaging lesson plans, delivering practical robotics and STEM workshops, designing educational materials, and testing new teaching methodologies. The position is based in Limassol or Nicosia with occasional intercity travel to facilitate workshops and educational outreach activities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and facilitate STEM, robotics, and hands-on technology workshops for students
- Develop engaging lesson plans incorporating gamification and problem-based learning
- Create supporting educational materials, activities, quizzes, and teacher guides
- Provide training and support to educational instructors
- Research competitors and emerging educational trends to identify new product opportunities
- Test educational approaches with students, gather feedback, and analyze results
- Participate in educational outreach presentations, demonstrations, and workshops
- Communicate with parents and partner organisations to coordinate workshop schedules
- Provide operational support to educational centres including product promotion
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or any STEM-related field
- Masters degree or PhD in Educational Sciences or STEM and Robotics in Education is an advantage
- At least three years of teaching experience in a relevant field considered an advantage
- Excellent command of both English and Greek
- Strong communication and presentation skills
