About the Role
Vasilico Eggs, a Cypriot family business and leading egg brand, is seeking a responsible individual to assist in sorting, packaging, and preparing fresh eggs for daily distribution. You will work in a fast-paced environment with modern machinery at their Nicosia facilities, ensuring ethical farming and quality. The role involves a 6-day work week, totaling 48 hours, with a rotating weekend day off and 1.5 days of rest per week. Join a team dedicated to providing quality eggs to Cyprus daily.
Responsibilities
- Timely arrival and readiness for work
- Loading eggs onto the sorting line
- Checking eggs with UV light for cracks or defects
- Sorting & packaging eggs into cartons and crates
- Assembling crates and loading pallets
- Cleaning and operating machinery
- Adhering to hygiene and food safety standards
- Collaborating with the Production Manager and team members
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Greek or English
- Physical stamina for standing work, lifting and carrying (10–15 kg)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, food production, or agricultural work (desired)
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- Comfort with tools and machinery (training provided)
- Positive attitude, responsibility, and team spirit
