About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of an international manufacturer of machinery for the production of plastic bottles, is seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for reading, designing, and maintaining electrical and pneumatic drawings for machines prepared by the company on behalf of its clients, as well as carrying out electrical wiring, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting. Working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Read, design, and maintain Electrical & Pneumatic drawings for machines prepared for customers
- Selection of hardware relating to existing or new machines
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware selection and ordering
- Perform electrical wiring of machines, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, training manuals, and machine safety processes
- Provide technical support to customers regarding electrical wiring or hardware issues
- Prepare and perform training sessions to teach internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Solid understanding of electrical concepts and hardware selection
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- High attention to detail
- Willingness and desire to learn how to programme PLCs and 6-Axis Robots in the future
