About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a long-established and leading company in the Aviation & Transportation industry, based in Paphos. Reporting to the Head of Technical Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, cost-effective, and reliable maintenance and upgrades of airport infrastructure and equipment, adhering to the preventive maintenance plan and company policies. The role involves managing maintenance contracts, planning maintenance activities, and project management from inception to handover. The engineer will also optimize costs, monitor service provider KPIs, track energy consumption, and participate in various tasks including electrical design, collaboration with other engineering disciplines, and construction projects. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is required, and fluency in Greek and English is essential. Responsibilities
- Maintenance contract management
- Preventive, reactive and major maintenance planning
- Project management, from inception to completion and handover to end user
- Optimization of maintenance and repair costs and processes
- Follow up and control of service provider Key Performance Indicators
- Monitoring of on energy consumption and energy management
- Participation in various tasks including electrical design, collaboration with other engineering disciplines, construction of new facilities, renovations, improvements, and upgrades
- Reporting of progress and performance on both maintenance and project activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (must be able to register to ETEK)
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
- Excellent knowledge on AutoCAD 2D
- Very good knowledge of MS Office with particular reference in advance use of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge on energy management
- Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written
