About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Facilities Manager for a long-established consulting engineering firm based in Nicosia. The Facilities Manager will play a key role in engaging with clients regarding the management of their facilities, including asset registry, maintenance scheduling, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in facilities or property management. Strong project management principles and fluency in both Greek and English are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients on facility’s needs
- Develop asset registry and maintenance plans on multiple facility sites
- Monitor suppliers’ schedules and ensure their timely execution of works
- Supervise and ensure good quality of works and verify
- Use specialised software to record, monitor, and communicate on the asset status
- Create budgets and approve payments to suppliers
- Develop leads for new facilities clients and support the Director in business development
- Manage stakeholders from the client and suppliers to maximise efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- 5+ years’ prior experience in facilities management or property management
- Understanding of project management principles
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with project management software is a plus
- Self-motivated, with a proactive and professional attitude
