About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus leading land and building developers, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a key role ensuring the smooth operation of the company finance and accounting functions. In this position, you will lead and guide a team of accountants to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with local regulations and standards, while managing financial planning, cash flow monitoring, and statutory reporting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of the company Finance and Accounting functions
- Review and guide a team of accountants to ensure accurate financial recording
- Manage the company financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and profitability, providing strategic recommendations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Review tax returns, VAT filings, and other statutory reports on time
- Assist with external audits, ensure compliance with audit requirements, and resolve issues
- Maintain relations and cooperate with external associates such as auditors and banks
- Report directly to the group Chief Financial Officer
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other relevant field
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA) considered an advantage
- 5+ years of accounting and/or auditing experience
- Experience in Construction and Real Estate industry considered a strong advantage
- Solid experience with Cyprus Tax and VAT Legislation
- Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Accounting Software
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Strong organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
