About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Head of Legal & Compliance (Russian-Speaking) for a forward-thinking technology company in Limassol. This role involves leading licensing, legal structuring, and regulatory strategy across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will handle legal drafting, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as a cross-functional problem solver. The company is looking for a degree-educated individual with 5+ years of relevant legal and/or compliance experience within the CFD industry, fluent in both Russian and English. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all legal and compliance matters across the company
- Provide legal and regulatory guidance to senior management
- Oversee drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements
- Maintain key legal documentation: Terms & Conditions, partner agreements, internal policies
- Assess regulatory implications of new products, marketing initiatives, and partnership models
- Support relationships with banks, PSPs, and financial partners
- Coordinate external law firms and legal advisors across jurisdictions
- Build and structure the internal Legal & Compliance function
- Hire and develop the Legal & Compliance team as the company scales
Requirements
- Law degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- 5+ years in legal or compliance roles within CFD brokerage
- Fluency in Russian and English
- Strong understanding of commercial agreements, corporate structuring, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with PSPs, banks, and financial institutions
- Ability to assess legal and regulatory risks and provide pragmatic business solutions
- Experience working with regulators, external law firms, and commercial partners
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and own the legal & compliance function
