Our client, a licensed Financial Services Company and Electronic Money Institution in Nicosia, Cyprus, is seeking a Head of Risk Management. This pivotal role involves leading and overseeing the company’s comprehensive risk management framework, ensuring effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of risks in alignment with regulatory requirements and the company's risk appetite. The successful candidate will develop and maintain risk policies, oversee prudential risk management, and prepare regular reports for senior management and the Board. Key responsibilities also include managing credit, counterparty, market, and operational risks, ensuring appropriate risk assessments, maintaining the risk register, and establishing Key Risk Indicators. The role also encompasses overseeing third-party and outsourcing risk management, collaborating with other control functions, and ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements. Furthermore, the Head of Risk Management will act as the Outsourcing Officer and promote a strong risk culture throughout the organization.
