About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking an IT Project Manager for a global payment solutions provider with growing operations in Cyprus. The successful candidate will lead global projects, managing their end-to-end lifecycle, collaborating with clients, internal teams, and external partners. This role involves defining project plans, monitoring execution, and ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality dimensions. The company is looking for someone with at least 2 years of proven end-to-end IT project management experience. Responsibilities
- Lead global Projects of varying scale through all aspects of their end-to-end lifecycle
- Ensure effective elicitation of requirements and formulation of fit for purpose solutions
- Define the project plan baseline and ensure appropriate monitoring and control during project execution
- Build lasting relationships with internal and/or external client stakeholders, including senior sponsors
- Use industry best practices and project management methodologies to implement effective governance and optimise performance
- Orchestrate cross functional teams, work scheduling and prioritisation, communications and reporting
- Manage issue, risk, stakeholder and change management to successfully meet project objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Finance, or a related field
- PMP or equivalent certification (e.g., Prince2) preferred
- 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience in the IT industry
- Ideally within financial services or payment systems, including delivery of software implementation projects across the full SDLC
- Proven experience managing multiple client-facing projects in a virtual, multinational environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams under pressure
- Hands-on experience producing and maintaining project artefacts such as project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and dashboards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work across time zones and travel as required
- Proficiency in MS Office, with working knowledge of MS Project
