About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established international organization to recruit an IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic technical team, working with modern infrastructure technologies while supporting critical business operations across multiple locations. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and continuously improving the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and high performance.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS and DHCP services.
- Support virtualization platforms and virtual machine environments.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot server and workstation hardware.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers and firewalls.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management and preventive maintenance.
- Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure, network and security-related incidents.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver IT projects.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow IT best practices.
- Travel internationally when required to support business operations and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of: Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 11, TCP/IP Networking, DNS & DHCP
- Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware or similar)
- Experience supporting physical servers and desktop hardware
- Understanding of firewall administration, endpoint security and backup solutions
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team
- Must be able to travel internationally at short notice when business needs require
- Nice to Have: Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure or AWS exposure, PowerShell scripting
- Networking certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA or similar)
- Experience working within international or highly regulated environments
