About the Role
A boutique legal, tax, and accounting advisory firm established in 2009 in the heart of Larnaca is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its growing team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, record financial transactions, handle accounts payable and receivable, and prepare bank reconciliations. The position offers great growth potential, structured training, and a supportive, collaborative environment for junior finance professionals or motivated graduates looking to build a career in accounting.
Responsibilities
- Recording and posting daily accounting transactions
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Preparing bank and account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate and organized accounting records
- Assisting with monthly and year-end closing procedures
- Supporting the Senior Accountant and accounting team with daily tasks
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of accounting experience or ambitious fresh graduate
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and willingness to learn accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good command of English
