About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, a well-established accounting and audit firm offering a comprehensive range of professional services, is seeking a Junior Auditor to join their growing team in Larnaca. The ideal candidate will have an academic background in a relevant field and be working towards a professional accounting qualification. Some prior experience in the audit field is required, along with fluency in Greek and English. Knowledge of Caseware software will be considered a plus. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, including a generous base salary, 13th salary, and provident fund. The working hours are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 07:45 – 17:00, Wednesday from 07:45 – 15:00, and Friday from 07:45 – 14:45.
Responsibilities
- Performing audits in accordance with professional standards for local and international clients.
- Preparing of financial statements.
- Preparing tax computation and tax returns.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
- Reporting to the Audit Manager.
- Working closely with managers, partners, and other Departments.
Requirements
- University Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent or Certificate of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Level 3.
- Studying towards a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ACA) will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in a similar position is required.
- Fluent in Greek and English (both verbal and written).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Caseware software will be considered an advantage.
