About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, an established provider of Advisory, Assurance & Tax services, is seeking a Junior Auditor to join their growing team in Limassol. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced audit professionals, performing audits for local and international clients. Responsibilities also include assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS. The client is looking for applicants ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, or Economics. While previous experience in audit is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in both Greek and English are a must. Knowledge of Caseware software will be considered an advantage. Responsibilities
- Perform audits of local and international clients
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements of clients in accordance with IFRS
- Assist in the preparation of tax computations and tax returns
- Willingness to use the latest technological tools when carrying out audit work, such as Datasnipper, IDEA sampling software
- Assist in the preparation of AML procedures
- Work closely with different departments to gather needed information
- Work closely and report to the Manager
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience in the Audit field will be considered an advantage, but not essential
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient command of both Greek and English languages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
- Knowledge of Caseware software will be considered an advantage
