About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Junior Auditor to join an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services in Nicosia. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced audit professionals, performing audits for local and international clients and assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS. This role is ideal for degree holders in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. While previous audit experience is a plus, full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates.
Responsibilities
- Assist in audit engagements for local and international clients in accordance with IFRS and ISA.
- Support Seniors and Managers in completing audit assignments.
- Prepare basic audit working papers and documentation.
- Collect and organize client information and supporting documentation.
- Assist in identifying audit issues and escalate to Senior/Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements and tax computations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Studying towards ACA/ACCA or graduate in Accounting/Finance.
- 0–2 years of relevant audit or accounting experience.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of Caseware International will be considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) in Greek and English.
