About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of a long-established and well-known law firm, is seeking to recruit a Junior Lawyer to join their growing team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents and commercial agreements, liaising with public authorities, appearing before court, and assisting with compliance matters and client due diligence. Candidates must hold an LLB, be admitted members of the Cyprus Bar Association, and have approximately 1+ year of post-qualification legal experience.
Responsibilities
- Preparing, reviewing, and executing legal opinions and various legal documents
- Appearing before court either independently or under the guidance of a Senior Lawyer
- Drafting legal contracts and other official documentation
- Liaising with various public authorities and government bodies
- Preparing, reviewing, and executing commercial contracts
- Assisting with transactional compliance matters
- Assisting with client due diligence processes
Requirements
- Holder of a Bachelor degree in Law (LLB)
- Master degree (LLM) considered an advantage
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- Approximately 1+ year of proven post-qualified legal experience
- Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
- Knowledge of Russian considered an advantage
- Good computer knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
