About the Role
CareerFinders is assisting a boutique advisory firm specializing in Electronic Money and Payment Institutions, Investment Firms, Investment Funds, and Crypto-Asset Services Providers, in recruiting a Junior Regulatory Compliance Associate. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and ensuring timely reporting for CIF and CASP entities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or Law, with recent graduates encouraged to apply, though prior experience in regulatory compliance is a plus. The position offers an attractive remuneration package including a base salary, performance bonus, and provident fund, along with hybrid working options.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and observe the reporting deadlines of CIF and CASP entities
- Understand new and existing legislations and CySEC Circulars
- Ensure CIF and CASP comply with all applicable regulations and legislations through continuous monitoring
- Support the Regulatory Compliance team in producing annual regulatory compliance reports, manuals, and other policies
- Assist on internal audit engagements, perform on-site inspections to CIF and CASP clients
- Provide recommendations for weaknesses and deficiencies that have been identified
- Support the Education team in preparing training material relevant to the applicable regulatory framework
- Support various operational tasks such as Social Media posts preparation and handling of Education requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field
- 1+ years of professional experience in a Regulatory Compliance related function (advantageous, not essential)
- Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent writing skills and use of the English language
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
