About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of an international manufacturer of machinery for the production of plastic bottles, is seeking to recruit a Machine Production Engineer to join their growing team in Nicosia. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling machines, sub-assembly mechanisms, and moulds, repairing faults, and operating production machinery. The ideal candidate holds relevant technical qualifications or an engineering degree, possesses the ability to read mechanical assembly drawings, and is capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, accompanied by an attractive remuneration package.
Responsibilities
- Assembling machines, sub assembly mechanisms, and moulds
- Identifying and repairing part faults
- Operating machines
- Handling assembly and fabrication tools
- Loading and unloading machines into containers
- Maintaining company tools and equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organized workplace
- Contributing to customer technical support requests
- Full compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures
Requirements
- Graduate of a Technical School, ATI, TEI, or holder of a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, or Chemical Engineering
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Ability to interpret mechanical assembly drawings
- Ability to perform well under minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic health and safety regulations and procedures
