About the Role
A long-established Cyprus-based technology company delivering software solutions internationally is seeking a Mid-level QA Engineer to join their growing team in Nicosia. In this role, you will investigate, document, and monitor bugs, execute thorough test cases, and carry out API and frontend testing across all stages of the software development life cycle. You will collaborate closely with development teams, design regression test suites, and contribute to continuous improvement within an Agile framework. The ideal candidate possesses 3 to 4 years of industry testing experience, deep knowledge of QA methodologies and web applications, and fluency in both English and Greek.
Responsibilities
- Find, investigate, record, document, and monitor bugs using structured QA best practices
- Create and execute test cases with a broad, thorough approach to testing
- Read and analyse requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with the development team
- Gather evidence and demonstrate comprehensive understanding when creating bug reports
- Design and execute regression test suites and perform system testing
- Perform basic API testing and expert-level frontend testing
- Execute testing at all stages of the software development life cycle
- Review test cases prepared by other team members and provide estimations
- Participate in QA planning and review meetings, offering continuous improvement feedback
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of testing experience in the industry
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in functional, integration, module, and regression testing
- Experience writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Deep knowledge of web application testing
- Experience with data validation and knowledge of databases (MS-SQL)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and close attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to conduct manual tests
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent command of English and Greek
