About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Middle-Tier Network Engineer to join its technical team in Nicosia, Cyprus. In this role, you will take responsibility for deploying, supporting, and maintaining core networking infrastructure for clients across Cyprus. You will work extensively with switching, routing, wireless technologies, VPNs, and server environments. The ideal candidate already possesses solid hands-on networking expertise and is capable of providing technical support remotely as well as on-site while collaborating with senior engineers on complex infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and support core networking solutions
- Work with switching, routing, wireless networking, VPNs, and server environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and infrastructure issues
- Support Microsoft client and server operating systems
- Assist with network infrastructure deployments and upgrades
- Provide technical support to clients both remotely and on-site
- Work alongside senior engineers on complex infrastructure projects
- Participate in client-site assignments across Cyprus
Requirements
- 3-5 years of technical experience
- At least 3 years hands-on experience with Microsoft client and server operating systems
- Solid practical knowledge of switching, routing, wireless networking, and VPNs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Fluent in Greek and English
- Valid driving licence
- Knowledge of network security concepts and firewalls is a strong advantage
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
