About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and accountable .NET Software Developer to join our team in Nicosia. The ideal candidate will be proficient in VB.NET and/or C#.NET, with knowledge of Oracle PLSQL and SQL Reporting Services. This role involves developing and consuming REST/SOAP services, writing clean and scalable code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for testing, deploying, refactoring, and debugging applications, participating in system analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement. We value strong problem-solving skills, a desire for collaboration, and a proven track record in delivering high-performance technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, scalable code
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Execute unit and system tests as required
- Perform bug fixes during release launch and maintenance
- Collaborate with other developers and teams
- Participate in continuous support and improvement of systems and processes
- Participate in professional development
- Participate in system analysis process
Requirements
- Comfortable programming applications within the .NET framework
- Proficient in VB.NET and/or C#.NET
- Knowledge of Oracle PLSQL and SQL Reporting Services
- Experience with developing and consuming REST/SOAP services
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with version control systems (GIT and/or TFS)
- Good English communication and cross-group collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- At least 3 years of related work experience
