About the Role
Our client is a global platform offering transparency and efficiency in port cost management, backed by decades of maritime expertise. They are seeking a Product Owner to join their growing Product team. This role involves working closely with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear product requirements. The successful candidate will manage and prioritize the product backlog and support the delivery of high-quality solutions. This position combines Product Ownership, Business Analysis, and Agile delivery coordination, playing a key role in driving product improvements and supporting the evolution of an innovative technology platform.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Define clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements that enable efficient development and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate closely with customers, stakeholders, and the product & development teams to translate business challenges into product solutions.
- Facilitate agile delivery by supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and continuous improvement, while helping maintain team velocity.
- Monitor product and delivery performance through reporting and analytics, using data to drive prioritization and product decisions.
- Ensure all development work is well defined, properly documented, and delivers measurable business value.
Requirements
- Experience as a product owner, scrum master, business analyst, or similar role.
- Strong backlog management and prioritization skills.
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum practices.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear development tasks.
- Experience working closely with software development teams and stakeholders.
- Experience validating delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, and data driven decision making.
- English communication skills (both written and verbal).
