About the Role
Our esteemed client, a rapidly expanding Group with diverse business interests in the online domain, is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join their growing team. Based in Nicosia, Limassol, or Paphos, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases to ensure software functionality, usability, performance, and security. We are looking for an individual with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with at least three years of proven QA engineering experience, including automation. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in test management software are essential for this role. This position offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package, including a generous base salary, bonus scheme, flexible working hours, and a provident fund.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and automate test cases to verify software functionality, usability, performance, and security
- Assess and document test results with precision and take initiative in resolving identified issues
- Take ownership and responsibility when signing off new code to live/production environments
- Contribute to the development of test strategies, plans, and methodologies for the entire SDLC
- Design and develop automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to streamlining the testing process
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality
- Analyze testing processes and propose improvements, explore new testing techniques, and enhance overall software quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other relevant field
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in a position as QA Engineer
- Experience with automated testing
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust analytical skills
- Proficiency in test management software for streamlined processes
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is highly desirable
- Solid knowledge of the development and defect life cycle
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
