About the Role

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities (BOQ)
• Monitor project costs, track variations and prepare interim and final valuations
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to resolve cost-related issues
• Manage final accounts, including settlement of contractor claims and dispute resolution
• Stay updated on market trends, material costs and industry best practices in Cyprus
• Prepare detailed reports on project financial performance and cost forecasts
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus construction regulations, building codes and health & safety standards
• Conduct risk assessments and implement value engineering strategies
• Administer contracts, draft tender documents, evaluate bids and negotiate terms

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the Cyprus construction industry
• ETEK membership or international certification (e.g. RICS) is a plus
• Familiarity with Cyprus construction laws, tendering processes and contract types (e.g. FIDIC)
• Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in QS software (CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD) and MS Office (Excel, Project)
• Experience with BIM, sustainable construction and large-scale projects is preferred
