About the Role
Our client is a highly successful and well-established organization in the hospitality sector, with many years of experience and a strong presence across Cyprus. They are recognized for their excellence and professionalism, making them a leading name in the industry. The successful candidate for this seasonal role will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all culinary standards are consistently maintained in line with F&B guidelines, hygiene, safety regulations, and internal hotel policies.
Responsibilities
- Smooth and organized running of the Restaurant
- Supervise and co-ordinate daily operation of the Restaurant and service
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Resolve customer complaints promptly
- Set objectives and targets for the restaurant
- Achieve financial goals both in revenue, expenses and profits
- Prepare staff schedules, taking into consideration the quality of the service and maintaining labour costs
- Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources
- Maintain excellent communication with all staff and other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionals
- Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 5* Hotel or fine dining environment
- Degree Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
- Extensive F&B knowledge
- Excellent leadership skills
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
- Computer Literate
- Commitment to learning & self-development
- Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
- Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
- Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints
