About the Role
Our client, a leading provider of turnkey gaming platform solutions, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Risk Officer to join their team in Limassol. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in payments, risk, or operational roles to learn and grow within a strong and professional team. The company empowers partners worldwide to launch, operate, and scale successful online casino and sportsbook brands, and this position is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic environment, contributing to smooth client experiences and secure payment operations.
Responsibilities
- Processing new client account openings in line with KYC requirements and internal procedures
- Reviewing and updating existing client accounts to ensure all documentation and information remain accurate and up to date
- Monitoring customer accounts and transactions to identify potential fraud, risk, or unusual activity
- Investigating, documenting, and escalating suspicious transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Reviewing and processing customer deposit and withdrawal requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicating with banks and payment service providers when required to support smooth payment operations
- Using internal risk, fraud, and payment systems to support healthy deposit conversion rates and manage chargeback levels
- Responding to and resolving customer queries in a professional, efficient, and customer-focused manner
- Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure a smooth client experience and operational efficiency
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Willingness to work rotational 24/7 shifts: (08:00 – 16:00, 16:00 – 00:00, 00:00 – 08:00)
- Previous experience in payments, risk, or operational roles will be considered an advantage
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in execution
- Comfortable working with computers; basic to intermediate Excel skills required
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured operational environment
- European citizenship required
