About the Role
Our client, an established architectural practice based in Limassol, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to take a leading role in technical design development, construction documentation, and on-site project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished architect who combines exceptional technical expertise with strong construction knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the confidence to manage complex projects independently. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that architectural concepts are translated into technically sound, buildable, and successfully delivered projects. This is a senior, hands-on position requiring immediate technical contribution, professional maturity, and proven construction experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and coordination of detailed architectural construction drawings and technical documentation
- Develop comprehensive construction drawing packages using Revit within a BIM environment
- Ensure accuracy, buildability, and compliance with applicable building regulations and specifications
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and lead coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients
- Resolve technical queries, construction challenges, and on-site discrepancies
- Manage projects from design development and statutory approvals through construction and final handover
- Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Monitor project schedules, technical deliverables, and budget considerations
- Provide technical guidance and Revit support to other team members
Requirements
- More than 8 years of hands-on experience in architectural construction drawings and site supervision
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit within a BIM environment and technical detailing
- Extensive experience preparing complete architectural construction drawing packages for built projects
- Proven experience supervising construction projects and resolving technical issues on site
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Sound understanding of building regulations, planning procedures, building permits, and construction practices
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and manage projects
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
- Previous experience on architectural projects in Cyprus and residing in Limassol preferred
