About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Senior Auditor on behalf of one of Cyprus’ largest and most highly regarded providers of Audit, Accounting, and Tax services. This role, based in Limassol, involves managing and delivering client audit projects, including client acceptance procedures and audit planning. The ideal candidate will have an academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and be partly or newly qualified in ACA/ACCA. Responsibilities
- Involvement in client acceptance procedures
- Understanding clients' businesses
- Identifying risk matters
- Planning the audit work required for assignments
- Executing and finalizing audit work
- Demonstrating a basic understanding of tax issues; assisting in completing client tax returns
- Assisting with audit work for larger clients
- Participating in international audit engagements with other Network firms
- Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work
- Monitoring budgets and cost controls
- Reporting primarily to managers and partners
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Partly or newly qualified ACA/ACCA
- Experience in audit
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Leadership skills and ability to train staff
