About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Senior Auditor for an established provider of Audit & Accounting services in Nicosia. This role involves conducting external audit engagements in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and preparing financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The ideal candidate will have approximately 3+ years of experience in an audit firm, a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, and proficiency in Caseware International software, along with excellent command of English and Greek. An attractive remuneration package including a 13th salary is offered.
Responsibilities
- Perform audit engagements for the company´s clients
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Communication with clients via email and phone
- Preparation of clients´ tax returns and tax computations
- Provide support to the Audit Manager
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
- Holders of, or working towards any professional accounting qualification
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and ISA
- Confident user of MS Office applications
- Familiar with Caseware International software
- Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek languages
