About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, a well-established firm providing Audit, Accounting & Tax services, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their expanding team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing audit engagements for both local and international clients, ensuring compliance with IFRS and ISA. Applicants should ideally be full members of a recognised accounting body (ACA/ACCA) or nearing qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of proven audit experience in a professional services firm. A competitive remuneration package, including a 13th salary, is offered based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements in accordance with ISA and local regulations
- Perform risk assessments, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements
- Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements
- Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and detailed audit reports
Requirements
- Academic background in a relevant field of study is desirable
- ACCA/ACA qualification or at the final stage of ACCA studies
- 3+ years of audit experience in a professional services firm
- Strong knowledge of ISA and IFRS/GAAP
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Fluency in Greek and English
