About the Role
CareerFinders is seeking a Senior Client Accountant for an established provider of Audit & Accounting services in Limassol. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of international clients and supervise less experienced staff. The ideal applicant will hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, be a full member of ACA or ACCA, and possess extensive experience in a similar role. Fluency in both Greek and English is essential. This role offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package, including a 13th salary, Provident Fund, and Friday afternoons off. Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting and bookkeeping cycle for a portfolio of companies
- Prepare and submit VAT & VIES returns
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and proper recording of financial transactions under IFRS
- Monitor accounting deadlines and ensure timely reporting for all assigned companies
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems
- Provide support and supervision to less experienced accountants in the team
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
- Full member of a recognised accounting body (ACA or ACCA)
- Extensive accounting and bookkeeping experience, preferably gained in an accounting/audit firm
- Experience supervising and managing less experienced team members is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Fluency in Greek and English
