About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well-established and respected Construction & Engineering Firms with over 60 years of history, is seeking to recruit a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their growing teams based in either Nicosia or Limassol. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will oversee construction works onsite, ensuring project quality, costs and timeframes are managed appropriately. You will also coordinate the work of subcontractors and appointed subcontractors, as well as prepare monthly progress reports for projects. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the construction sector and strong leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction site for quality, time, and cost of the work
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors and appointed subcontractors
- Prepare measurements for material orders and subcontractor payments
- Prepare a monthly progress report of the projects
- Monitor the schedule of the projects
- Measure projects for tenders as required
- Responsible for health and safety issues on the construction site
- Ensure compliance with company procedures
- Prepare the project work programme
Requirements
- Holder of a degree in Civil Engineering
- Member of ETEK or a corresponding professional body recognized by ETEK
- At least 15+ years of experience in the construction sector
- Integrity of character, organizational ability, responsibility, initiative and discernment
- Understanding and implementation of construction plans
- Ability to operate in an environment with increased demands and within required deadlines
- Ability to properly manage time and available resources
- Fluent in reading, writing and communicating in Greek and English
