About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, a leading provider of Legal Services, is seeking to recruit a Senior Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for advising and assisting clients across a range of legal areas, including cross-border transactions, contract negotiation, M&A transactions, and Corporate Governance. Our client is seeking candidates with a law degree, full membership of the Cyprus Bar Association, and 3+ years of experience in Corporate and Commercial Law. Excellent drafting skills and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English are essential for this role. An attractive remuneration package, including a 13th salary and flexible working hours, is on offer.
Responsibilities
- Advising and assisting clients with cross-border transactions, structuring, drafting/reviewing, negotiation of contracts and other legal documents, M&A transactions and corporate governance
- Preparation of legal opinions in the area of Corporate, Commercial, and Bank Finance law
- Supervising a team of junior lawyers and paralegals as required
- Drafting articles and memos on topics of corporate and commercial law
- Assisting the partners with the management of the activities of the office
Requirements
- LLB and/or LLM from a well-respected University
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- 3+ years of proven experience in Corporate/Commercial Law
- Strong drafting skills
- Ability and experience to handle and close transactions with minimal supervision
- Excellent command of the English and Greek languages
- Excellent research skills
