About the Role
Our client, a marine technical navigation service provider, is seeking a Senior Marine Service Engineer to join their team in Limassol, Cyprus. This role involves professionally representing the company, executing service jobs accurately and on time, and communicating effectively with clients, agents, vessels, and manufacturers. The engineer will coordinate on-site or remote services, prepare jobs by arranging logistics and spare parts, and ensure all documentation meets required standards. Additionally, the position involves continuous technical skill development, providing guidance, and participating in daily operations such as quotation preparation and client meetings. The ideal candidate will analyze customer concerns, provide solutions, maintain equipment, and support lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company professionally in performance, attitude, quality, and customer service
- Execute all assigned service jobs accurately and on time
- Communicate with clients, agents, vessels, and manufacturers to ensure successful service delivery
- Coordinate and assign on-site or remote engineers for confirmed requests
- Prepare jobs by arranging attendance, spare parts, and logistics
- Ensure documentation, materials, and service reports meet required standards
- Seek technical advice when necessary, including from manufacturers
- Identify training needs and support skill development for self and team
- Adhere to company policies and best business practices
- Analyze customer concerns and provide effective solutions
Requirements
- University degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent studies
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Seagoing experience is preferred
- Excellent command of the English language
- Computer literate, e.g., Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to travel
